Portraits

These are just a few samples of portraits that I have taken. 

 

Floral Pictures 

As noted on my general Photography page, I started out taking pictures of flowers. They are great subjects because they don’t blink or make odd faces, but they are also uncommunicative. Every Christmas my husband and I put together wall calendars that have featured many of the photographs shown below, and gave them away as gifts. They were very popular with our family and friends. 

 

Animals and Insects

Occasionally I get asked to take pictures of the family pet, and although it’s often tricky to get them to cooperate, I do enjoy the process. As you can see, I also take a lot of pictures of birds, bees, butterflies, and marine life.
